Harbor Island is accessible from Nassau by a two-hour ferry and is known worldwide for its 35 km of pale pink sand beaches, whose color consists of endless fragments of broken corals and empty shells of foraminifera, a single-celled organism which spread over three miles along the east coast of the island. Harbor Island is known as one of the few world beaches that offers pink sand and also home several hotels and resorts, including the Valentines Resort and Marina, the historic Rock house and the Pink Sands Resort.
At a distance of 3 miles and a width of 100 to 250 feet, it is a course that you definitely want to go for. Along the beach are resorts, restaurants and vacation homes. At low tide, the sand is firm and even and allows smooth running conditions. Some resorts even have tired beach bikes for a good beach cruise. At the northern end of the beach are the residences of The Narrows, where the elite enjoys a tranquil beach that is easily frequented by hikers. In the center you will find a number of resort that offer seafront restaurants, and in the south holiday homes nestled in a vibrant green scaevola and broadleaf sea clusters that thrive under difficult coastal conditions.

The Tahiti beach is also known to be quiet because the beach is located at the end of the island and driving there is very difficult due to lack of road access, this is why people find it hard to visit this cool water and white sand. To get to Tahiti beach you can rent a boat to reach the beach which is not so difficult as Abacos is the sailing capital of the country.
Coconut palms shade the shoreline and you can practically walk on the neighboring island when the tides reveal a wide shallow sandbank. Though note that the lack of road access to the beach means that that you are likely to have the beach to yourself if you love privacy except for occasional boaters dropping anchor.
