Why you should visit Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

St. Vincent is a Caribbean island in the Lesser Antilles and is officially known as "St. Vincent and the Grenadines". The neighboring islands are St. Lucia and Barbados, which means you can easily fly back and forth between these islands with direct flights.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines, like many emeralds, are scattered across the Caribbean Sea and form a magnificent archipelago. Lush peaks, white sand, lonely bays, volcanic landscapes and spectacular coral reefs make it one of the most diverse places in the region.

Reasons to visit Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

• Salt Whistle Bay is one of the most exquisite marinas in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and can only be reached by boat. Extensive white sandy beaches line the entire island and are perfect for snorkeling and sailing. The bay is a hotspot for sailors, so yacht moorings are rare.
• St. Vincent and the Grenadines have a wonderful and peaceful atmosphere, beautiful beaches and some excellent restaurants known as Mustique, a private island that has been developed as an area of vacation homes for the rich. Villas with tennis courts and swimming pools lie on grassy hills and long lawns stretching over sandy beaches. There is no place in Mustique where you can buy water or diesel fuel.
• Mayreau is west of the Tobago Cays and is ideal for those looking for privacy and a romantic retreat in the Caribbean. With no roads, cars, electricity or many familiar civilization noises, it's a final frontier in a preserved tropical paradise. There are hiking trails that take you to some of the most spectacular panoramas in the Grenadines.
